How it works

1. You set it up

   Pick a theme, add both names, and list some ideas you'd love. You get a private link to your calendar.

2. Send the invite

   Your partner opens the invite link on any phone, iPad or computer, sets a PIN, and fills the doors with your ideas or their own.

3. Open in December

   Once they seal it, you see the doors. Each one unlocks at midnight on its date, and not a minute before.

How the secret is kept

• There are no accounts. Each calendar has two private links, each one a random 128-bit code that can't be guessed. We only store a fingerprint of each link, never the link itself.
• The invite link works once. Whoever accepts it sets a PIN, and after that the doors can only be edited with that PIN.
• Door contents are encrypted on our server, and the server only sends a door's contents after its date has arrived in your time zone.
• If you make a new invite link after your partner has accepted, everything they wrote is erased. Nobody can use it to peek.
